India is the last major global economy transitioning from low to middle income per capita, creating a rare, multi‑decade expansion window for growth capital. Key drivers are:

  1. Structural growth and demographics
India offers one of Asia’s most compelling growth stories, powered by favourable demographics, a rising middle class, low household leverage and significant under penetration across key sectors.
  2. Evolving consumption and rising incomes
Sustained economic growth, rising wages and political stability are reshaping consumption patterns, with families allocating more income to health, education, leisure, technology and lifestyle products, driving durable domestic demand.
  3. Macro resilience and global context
India stands out against slower-growth developed markets and has emerged, after China, as a preferred destination for excess global capital seeking long-term returns.
  4. Attractive destination for alternative capital
India’s large economic potential, improving business environment and favourable investment climate make it a core allocation in the portfolios of global alternative investment funds.
  5. Tech stack and deepening innovation
The rollout of India’s digital public infrastructure, including Aadhaar and UPI, has been transformative and inclusive, enabling a new wave of innovation that now reaches Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 cities and empowering a generation of entrepreneurs challenging the status quo.
